Due to the drought and extreme water shortage in Taiwan, several underwater villages emerged in reservoirs around Taiwan which had been flooded decades before.
We explored the ruins of these abandoned villages and walked among the old canyons which are now usually submerged under water.
We discovered many every day artefacts preserved in the mud and silt surrounding the settlements, and discovered old roads, bridges and sculpted land previously used for farming and agriculture.
